Hi, I'm Serge. The idea for TipCalc Pro lived in my head and in some wireframe concepts for years — one of those "someone should build this" thoughts that never quite went away. I kept imagining a tip calculator that actually felt good to use: fast, thoughtful, and designed with the same care Apple puts into its own apps. Eventually, I stopped waiting for someone else to build it and decided to build what I wished existed.

Building TipCalc Pro has been a journey of rediscovery. After stepping away from iOS development, coming back to it felt like reuniting with an old friend — except now, the tools are extraordinary. SwiftUI has matured beautifully, and I've been experimenting with Apple's new Liquid Glass design language, pushing the boundaries of what a utility app can look and feel like.

What makes this moment special is the convergence of passion and possibility. I'm using the latest LLM coding models as a development partner — accelerating the craft. They help me move faster, explore more ideas, and stay in flow. It's a new way of building software, and it's incredibly exciting.
